My goals for 2024.

Happy new year lovelies. (Yes, I know a few days in now, but better late than never)

After surviving betweenmas (that period between Christmas and new year where your not quite sure what your doing, what day it is, and the food options are still cold meats from Christmas, chocolate boxes and beige) we have finally said goodbye to 2023, and hello 2024!

I’m not gonna lie it’s taken me a few days to get over the festive season and wake up to reality again. Normally I’m absolutely buzzing to get back into the craftroom and play around and do things at my own pace after a hectic few months of seasonal selling madness. But this new year. I’m taking it slower.

That being said, I do love the feeling of heading into a new year. Fresh starts, getting reorganised and starting to plan ahead again!

It got me thinking about my goals for this year. And im not talking the whole ‘new year., new me thing’ i am being totally realistic when I talk goals! It’s definitely I’m not planning lots of silly goals that arnt going to happen.

Continue to do what I love and improve where I can.

My main focus of 2024 is to just continue and improve on the things I have been working at. Especially when it comes to running our small business. Not to change things. But to continue on what we do whilst focusing on improvements.

Try to become more focused this year.

One thing that I have let slide is my organisational and focus skills recently. so I’m going back to the basics. Using todo lists, planners and reminders like I used to.

Blog more again.

I’ve really missed blogging. It’s something I really have enjoyed in the past. My dad used to be so encouraging about my blogging passion. Alongside my creating. Unfortunately when he passed I lost all energy I had to be on social media yet alone run my blog anymore. So I’m planning to start back! Hence the fresh blog name and a complete new outlook to what I will be writing about.

Keep creating 🫶🏻

If you know me, you will know that my biggest passion in life is being creative. So my goal is to keep doing exactly that. And if even possible to be even more creative than last year.

Being in the craft room creating is my happy place. And this year I don’t want to only create for business purposes. But for fun and personal much more.

Oh and there’s one more…

Ok, so I may of told a little white lie when I said I’m not planning anything big this year and my goals are all rolling from last year.

Technically it’s still true and this is something that has been being planned for a while. But, myself and my beautiful wifey are planning on something big happening this year. But for now it’s completely a secret. So I’m keeping this secret until then.

So fingers crossed that this goal goes ahead and maybe your hear about it later on 🤞🏻

But for now. That’s my goals of 2024.

Regardless, I can’t wait to see what this year brings. New adventures, new opportunities and a whole lot of creating.
